"Bear-a-thon"
Last week, we featured half of the formula that brought competitive electricity to the skies of Reno for many years. This week, we present the opening segment of "Get The Bear In The Air" Month here on AAFO.COM!
While you savor this first tidbit in this month's "Bear-a-thon" we're getting some other things together in our quest to help "GET THE BEAR IN THE AIR" for Reno 2002.
While you digest this first meal of the season after your hibernation, chew on this for your dessert... With the Bear looking very much like Lyle Shelton and the crew will have the airplane back into competition, Tiger and Strega.. ready to run, looking for sponsors, and in reality, with The Bear there.. can The Tige resist.. Add to the mix an always competitive, Dago Red, Critical Mass more ready than ever before, Dreadnought a likely returnee, Furias running stronger at every showing... There are more, but the picture begins to clear... Could we be shaping up for the most memorable year since the inception of the modern era of Air Racing in 1964!
