"Blue Skies Forever: Jimmy Rossi"
With heavy hearts, we regret to report that Jimmy Rossi was killed this morning in his F-86 "CrapShooter" during a take off crash while departing an airshow held yesterday near Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Sources at the scene state that Jimmy flew the airplane away from crowded residential areas and crashed in a nearby marshy area.
Aviation has lost one of its great performers.
Our sincere condolences to Jimmy Rossi's family and friends during this difficult time.
