This highly race modified Yak-11 (formerly Bob Yancey's mount  Perestrioka) is now owned by John Moore and piloted by Sherman Smoot. The aircraft was involved in an incident during Saturday's Gold heat race (click here for Reno "Day Six" coverage of what occurred), and was unable to make the call to race for Sunday.
Czech Mate posted an impressive qualifying speed this year of 423.459 MPH.
