A modified Hawker Sea Fury owned by Sanders’ Aircraft and flown by Dennis and Brian Sanders (they trade off flying duties each year - this year was Dennis's turn at bat). One of the many Sea Furys in the Sanders stable - this one has to be their favorite. With it’s huge R4360 engine (the biggest aircraft piston power plant ever produced) it just beats the air into submission. This year Dennis finished 2nd in the Gold Class Race at 445.306 MPH. |
