Owned and piloted by Howard Pardue, this Hawker Sea
Fury has generally never let Howard down, until this year. A problem with the powerplant
caused Howard to return to the tarmac within minutes after takeoff, posting a DNS for
Sunday's Gold Race.
Howard qualified Fury this year at 407.350 MPH. |
