In this particular shot, I believe it would be difficult to get a proper exposure with any setting; a polarized filter might be of some help. There is something else to consider when shooting these airplanes close up… The "awe factor" and there is much of that in taking these photographs. Simply amazing to see these beautiful machines doing their "stuff" so close.. Beautiful!
