Certainly the competitive spirit was alive at Reno 2001. More than one team entered into an impromptu "Show and Shine" contest. Though the judging and thus, the winner seemed to be somewhat in question throughout the week.

But Reno is and always will be much more than pure competition.

Reno is a place of dreams and more. It is the place where all of us who go there live but not just for the time we are there.

A vast extended community of those who live this sport. Though we may not be there in body, we are there every day of the year.
