World Of Wings, Inc. (WOW),
of Alpharetta, Georgia, announced the signing
today of a new, joint merchandising agreement,
between itself and six of the top Teams in
Unlimited Class Air Racing, along with the Reno
Air Racing Association (RARA), of Reno, Nevada,
the latter of which produces the National
Championship Air Races.
The licensed production
agreement marks the inauguration by WOW of
NASCAR-style, licensed production and sale of
Team merchandise, in cooperation with established
racing teams and the organizer an Air Racing
event.
The first six teams to
"lead the way" in signing the
merchandising agreement with WOW, include such
high-profile competitors as Dago Red, Strega,
Critical Mass, Voodoo, Miss America, and Rare
Bear.
The agreement provides for
the use and sale of team and RARA emblems on
merchandise to be sold by WOW at it's new
Pavilion during the upcoming 2000 Reno National
Championship Air Race event.
