Reno 2000: The Week in Pictures
Fury

Howard Pardue's "Fury," Race 66, passes Outer Pylon Eight during a late afternoon heat at Reno. The aircraft's best finish was in the Friday Heat 2B Silver, when it won at a speed of 421.748 mph. Pardue also placed well in the Thursday Heat 1A Silver, where Fury took third at a speed of 413.929 mph. Fury ultimately finished fourth in the Gold, at a speed of 406.933 mph.
