Reno 2000: The Week in Pictures
Voodoo

When negotiations between Team Voodoo and Darryl Greenamyer broke down, Matt Jackson found himself once again, thrust into the cockpit of this top contender.

Known for her temperamental nature in past races, Voodoo was a "dream machine" at R2K, surprising everyone this year by posting well in qualifications, staying mechanically together at race speed, and completing the races in top mechanical condition.

The pairing of Jackson and Voodoo in 2001 will likely bump up the speeds in the Unlimiteds, since Jackson is now familiar with the hybrid racer and undoubtedly comfortable with the fact that he could catch and pass Holm and Dago Red when needed.

In the "cat and mouse" game that will play out at Reno in 2001, the question in the minds of all: who will be the "cat," and who will be the "mouse?" Shall we see Voodoo leading the way down the straightaway toward the checkered flag?
