Reno 2000: The Week in Pictures
Al Goss, of the Warlock Racing Team, celebrated his 20th year in Air Racing at R2K, qualifying fourth at 224.676 mph, and being in the center of one of the most closely contested heats during the event. Goss battled Tom Campau and Mary Dilda during Friday's Heat 2B, right down to the wire, eventually winning the race at a speed of 223.781 mph, .323 mph faster than Campau who closed with a speed of 223.428 mph. Goss went on to finish third in the AT-6 Gold at a speed of 226.447 mph, a mere 1.270 mph behind Campau who finished second.
