Reno 2000: The Week in Pictures
Brent Hisey taxis out in Miss America. Hisey qualified eighth at 417.733 mph, finished second in Unlimited Silver Heat 1A on Thursday at a speed of 416.934 mph; was a "Did Not Start" on Friday due to magneto problems; finished third in Unlimited Silver Heat 3B on Saturday at a speed of 408.506 mph; then won the Sunday Silver at a speed of 416.934 mph, when Bill Rheinschild forfeited his win in the Silver to race in the Gold...

...a fortuitous move for both, since Rheinschild eventually finished in third as a result of penalties in the Unlimited Gold race.
