It was built up in the early 1980s by a man named John Darznieks. He actually used all new parts – his family owns a large T-6 parts company!

After championships under a couple of different pilots (including Mary Dilda) John sold the airplane to Tom Campau in 1998, and Tom has been honing his racing skills ever since.
