The Wings Over Gillespie
Airshow is always a great family event.
There will be armored vehicles for the
kids to climb on, a climbing wall, stage
shows and interviews each day. Always
plenty of vendors with great food and
merchandise. Some aircraft will be
selling rides, while others will have
walkthrough tours.
Some of
last years highlights were: Julie Clark
in her T-34, the EAA's B-17 Sentimental
Journey and a sneak pass by a MiG-21.
Always lots of Warbirds, Hellcat,
Bearcat, Wildcat, Mustang a Corsair and
much more including an amazing
demonstration by Skyraider Bob in his
Skyraider. He tore up the sky and really
thrilled the crowed!
This year Chino's Planes of
Fame Museum will be flying their N9M

aerobatic performances by John Collver in
his SNJ "WarDog" and US Air
