"One Big Pull!"
Leeward streaks by home pylon as Mark Johnston (positioned at the top of the pylon for this gallery of shots) snaps off a very nice record of the pass.
Jimmy made several laps with the burner on. When he goes around the back side of the course with the burner lit – you have no trouble seeing where he is – but all you see is the bright white-orange light of the afterburner. The eye simply can not discern the airplane with that much light to focus on!
Unfortunately, I did not posses a large enough lens to adequately capture any of these views.
