One-by-one the other
airplanes in the Unlimited demonstration race
formed up on the pace plane. Armed with a
microdrive capable of shooting 360 images, I
ignored my strong desire to just watch the show
and determined to finish this flight with zero
showing on the "images left" counter of
my Nikon D1 digital camera.
Unfortunately, the
lighting for this flight was extremely
"conditional," changing from moment to
moment from no light to some light to extreme
glare... many of the shots were simply
"off" in their exposure.. but we
managed to get some keepers just the same!
