Lou Meyer taxis in after arriving at Reno in Tommy Rose's Papa 51 "Thunder Mustang," Race 69. R2K would be a triumphant return for the aircraft that blew it's engine during qualifications at Reno in 1999. With "Sky Slut" at the controls, the aircraft won it's first three races, and finished second in the Gold behind the factory-sponsored Lancair of Dave Morss.
