"Nikon-Moment"

Finding a place on our personal "wall of fame," would certainly be works from Jeff Lo's Biplane Racer, wing mounted, N-70 Nikon film camera. This week, Jeff absolutely Nails the "Rich's Pyro backdrop shot of the year" with this view of Bob Odegard's immaculate P-51D at Oshkosh AirVenture 2004 taken with a new camera.

I'm thinking Jeff kept a bit tighter grip on this new Nikon camera. His file data shows this "week's" POWT to be taken with Nikon's new, quite nice D-70 digital SLR.

This particular photo by Jeff just reached out and grabbed me. This year we're celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the most decisive and important battles in our history. It's fitting that the subject aircraft is complete with "Invasion Stripes" as it stands between us and our foes, different now, to be sure... Just a beautiful shot Jeff!
