As Reno approaches annually, many of us begin asking ourselves: "Why didn't I buy some Fuji or Kodak Stock!"

I suppose Reno and Oshkosh just could be the two largest consumer events in the world for ratio of cameras brought to film burned!

With this in mind and being one who has wasted his fair share of the little cans of gold we bring so many of with us annually, I thought this gallery might be a place to share some tips with some of the other shutterbugs out there.

A while back, someone began a message "thread" on the Hangar Talk Board asking for advise on shooting airplanes. You might think it odd that the least experienced shooter on staff here would be the one who might write the first article here dealing with photography and advice on same.

We thought just the opposite. Since I'm still learning a lot every time I go out with one of our very experienced shooters, we thought that I might be able to share some of what I've been learning on our outings...

With all of this said and right when I begin to get the hang of it, I am about to embark on a slightly different method for my madness.. but the lessons learned will still very much apply.

We'll talk about this "new" angle after Reno, for now, if you begin at image one and continue through the tour, I will attempt to spread the knowledge shared so generously with me by some very good photographers.
